Can a casino charge you for withdrawing without playing?
Yes, and 4 of the 32 operators we track reserve exactly that right in writing, while 4 refuses the withdrawal outright instead of charging for it. Mega Dice states the charging shape plainest, in T&C 9.2: "There are no withdrawal commissions if you roll over (wager) the deposit at least 1 time. Otherwise we are entitled to deduct a 8% fee with minimum sum of 4 euro (or equivalent in your account currency) in order to combat money laundering." Bets.io sets the same trap at a stricter multiple in T&C 13: if "the sum of made bets since the last deposit is less than x3 (three) times the size of that deposit, the Casino reserves the right to charge the Gambler the costs of transaction processing", with no cap written into the clause. mBit reserves a processing fee on the same 3x test and does not publish the amount. Spartans takes the other route, T&C 4.2: "The deposited amount must be wagered at least x1.3 times" before a withdrawal is eligible at all, so there is no fee to quote because there is no withdrawal. A single playthrough is the industry's normal anti-money-laundering condition, so a 1x gate is ordinary and a 3x gate can catch a player who genuinely played (all read 2026-09-01).
Depositing and then withdrawing without betting is the one thing that turns a "no fees" casino into a fee, or into no withdrawal at all. The clause is always published, and never in the FAQ.

Every clause here is quoted from the terms the operator itself publishes, with the read date on the record, and the table is built from the stored clause rather than retyped into the page. Two different things are grouped here because a player meets them at the same moment. A CHARGE gate lets the money out and takes a cut; a BLOCK gate does not let the money out yet. Neither is a scam and both are published, but only one of them shows up as a number on your withdrawal. The distinction that matters next is between the FAQ and the terms: the Mega Dice FAQ separately claims it "does not charge any fees on deposits or withdrawals", while T&C 9.2 sets out the 8% condition. Where those two disagree we follow the binding document, which is the terms. We flag the multiple rather than just the existence of a gate, because 1x is the ordinary anti-money-laundering condition across this industry and 3x is meaningfully stricter.
