Is Monkey Tilt legit?
Monkey Tilt is the operator behind the most serious open dispute we have documented this year, and the fairest answer holds both sides of it. The record first: Kong Quest Ltd under a Tobique licence with no licence number published, governing law Costa Rica, terms read 2026-09-01. Its Payment Policy commits to trying to process withdrawals within 72 hours after verification, withdrawal limits exist but no figure is published, a 2% fee (max 10 EUR) hits repeat withdrawals within 24 hours, and clause 8.14 lets it apply individual turnover conditions to any account on a day's notice. The dispute: in April 2026 a player documented a rejected withdrawal of about 100,000 USD and an account closed for uncited "various breaches"; in the parallel AskGamblers case the operator produced evidence the account was "linked conclusively" to others, and AskGamblers accepted it, closing that case in the casino's favour. Neither side is independently corroborated, so we set no flag and publish both. RAW Score v0 puts it at 4.3 of 10.
We answer from what we could verify on the operator's own pages and in checkable public records, and we say plainly what we could not.
The evidence
| What we track | Value | Status | Read |
|---|---|---|---|
| Licence (jurisdiction) | Tobique | verified | 2026-09-01 |
| Operating entity | Kong Quest Ltd | verified | 2026-09-01 |
| Stated payout window | within 24 to 72 hours | verified | 2026-09-01 |
| Fee policy | fee-deducted | verified | 2026-09-01 |
| Minimum withdrawal | none we could find published | verified | 2026-09-01 |
| KYC gate, as the operator states it | Verification is required before any withdrawal (T&C 8.10.3), withdrawals above EUR 2,000 trigger additional verification with the right to block a pending withdrawal until it is passed (8.13), withdrawals may be limited during any verification (6.3), and the Payment Policy adds that if verification is not completed within 30 days the operator may CANCEL the withdrawal request. READING NOTE: the EUR 2,000 figure is an enhanced-verification trigger, not a no-KYC ceiling; base verification applies to every withdrawal, so noKycCeilingUsd stays null. | verified | 2026-09-01 |
| Published no-KYC ceiling | none published, so the trigger is discretionary | verified | 2026-09-01 |
| Wagering gate before cashout | 1x deposit or the operator applies a block (T&C 8.12): nothing is charged; the deposit cannot be withdrawn until wagered once, and only 10 percent of bets in Jackpots, Video Poker, Tables and Live Casino count toward that turnover, with sports bets counting only at odds above 1.7 | verified | 2026-09-01 |
| Confiscation clause | T&C 26.4, triggered by Bonus abuse, with the operator reserving complete discretion over what constitutes it: All bonuses cancelled, remaining balances confiscated including real money funds, and the account blocked, without prior notice | verified | 2026-09-01 |
How we know
The entity and licence were read live on 2026-09-01 from monkeytilt.com/terms-and-conditions/ (clause 2.1, terms last updated August 25, 2026) and the payout wording from monkeytilt.com/payment-policy/ (last updated January 22, 2026). Tobique publishes no searchable public register we could check the licence against, so it is recorded entirely as the operator's own statement; Anjouan licences on this site, by contrast, are register-confirmed, and that difference in checkability is itself information. The dispute record comes from the April 2026 Casinomeister thread and the AskGamblers outcome reported within it. We do not adjudicate it: the player's timeline (same-day KYC compliance, no clause cited at closure, the bonus section disappearing mid-dispute) and the operator's accepted linked-accounts evidence are both stated, and T&C 5.3, under which duplicate-account winnings are forfeit and withdrawn funds reclaimable, is the clause the case turns on. Two terms worth reading before depositing: only 10 percent of bets in Jackpots, Video Poker, Tables and Live Casino count toward the 1x deposit turnover (8.12), and bonus-abuse confiscation (26.4) reaches real money balances at the operator's complete discretion, without prior notice.
